The government of Telangana is working seriously on booking the celebrities who have promoted the betting apps in the past. The ED has already served notices to many celebrities related to the case. Now, there is a new development in the same.
So far, Prakash Raj, Rana Daggubati, Manchu Lakshmi, and Vijay Deverakonda received notices for the questioning. The officials want to question Rana on the 23rd of this month and Prakash Raj on the 30th of this month. Additionally, they want to grill Vijay on August 6th and Manchu Lakshmi on August 13th.
The Celebrities who are booked are: Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna, Rana Daggubati, Niddhi Agerwal, Vijay Deverakonda, Prakash Raj, Ananya Nagalla, Sreemukhi, Shyamala, Varshini Sounderrajan, Siri Hanmanthu, Vasanthi Krishnan, Sobha Shetty, Amritha Choudhary, Nayani Pavani, Neha Pathan, Pandu, Padmavathi, Imran Khan, Vishnupriya, Harsha Sai, Bhayya Sunny Yadav, Tasty Teja, Rithu Chaudhary, and Bandaru Supritha.
As per sections 318 (4), 112 read with 49, of BNS, and Telangana Gaming Act 3, 3(A), 4, and 66D of IT Act of 2000 and 2008, the cases have been booked.
With the questioning about to begin, we have to see if there will be new developments in the case.
