Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu is gearing up for a grand release on the 24th of this month. Producer AM Rathnam is successful in getting a price hike for his film in both the Telugu states. The governments in both the Telugu states also agreed to screen a special show on 23rd July, at 9 PM.
As per the government of Telangana,
9 PM Paid Premiere is confirmed on July 23rd with a ticket price of ₹600(+GST).
During the weekend, the government granted a hike of 200 rupees per ticket. The ticket in single screens will cost ₹354 and the ticket costs ₹531 in multiplexes. The government also granted permission for five shows.
From the 5th day to 11th day, the ticket price is ₹302 in single screens and 472 rupees in multiplexes.
As per the government of Andhra Pradesh,The multiplexes will be allowed to add ₹200 to the base ticket price, while single screens can charge an additional ₹150 for upper balcony and ₹100 for lower-class seats. This hike will be valid from July 24 to August 2.
Adding to the hype, special premiere shows have been permitted on the night of July 23. The ticket price for these shows has been fixed at a flat ₹600 across all theatres.
The ticket price hike is a perfect opportunity for the makers to cash the craze of the movie. But the content must justify the ticket price hike. If the film gains negative talk from the special premiere, then it will surely impact the revenue. For almost the entire first week, the ticket price is hiked but if things go wrong, Pawan will also face criticism politically.
