Actor Nithiin has been going through a rough patch over the last five years with no success. His last hit was Bheeshma, which was released back in 2020. This year, Nithiin came up with two films, Robinhood and Thammudu. Both films ended up as disasters. Currently, he has two films in his kitty, Yellamma under the direction of Venu Yeldandi and an untitled project with director Vikram K Kumar.

Nithiin and Vikram worked together on the 2012 blockbuster Ishq. After 13 years, they are reuniting for this film. It is reported that this film is going to be the most expensive project in Nithiin’s career, with a lot of VFX elements. However, considering Nithiin and Vikram K Kumar’s recent track record, this movie sounds like a risky project for many people in the industry.

As per the sources, this film is going to be a sports drama in which Nithiin will be seen as an equestrian (horse rider). We hear that he is undergoing physical transformation and is also learning horse riding for the film. Reportedly, Vikram K Kumar is planning to make this film with a huge budget and a lot of VFX elements.

But just like Nithiin, Vikram is also going through a lean patch. His last film, Thank You, was a disaster. His earlier films, like Gang Leader and Hello, were financial failures. He hasn’t tasted success at the box office for almost a decade. On the other side, Nithiin also lost a considerable market value due to consecutive flops over the last five years.

Thus, investing such a huge budget on this duo at this point sounds risky for many industry folks. It remains to be seen if Nithiin and Vikram defy all odds and silence their critics by scoring a big success with this film.
