Hero Ravi Teja’s entry into the multiplex business has turned out to be a roaring success. Partnering with Asian Cinemas, one of the biggest theatre chains in Telangana, Ravi Teja launched his very own multiplex named ART Cinemas. Located in Vanasthalipuram on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway, this venture is already pulling massive crowds and creating buzz across the city.

What makes this multiplex special? For starters, it’s the first large-scale multiplex in the eastern part of Hyderabad — a region heavily populated by middle-class families but often ignored when it comes to premium movie experiences. Ravi Teja and Asian Sunil saw that gap and filled it in style with a six-screen facility that’s attracting both film lovers and fans alike.

The biggest highlight here is the EPIC Screen, Telangana’s first of its kind. Designed by Cube Cinemas, it’s meant to rival IMAX with its massive size, stunning visuals, and state-of-the-art sound system. Moviegoers who’ve experienced it say it’s nothing short of mind-blowing, and social media is filled with rave reviews about the screen and the sound quality.

Since its grand opening on July 31 with the film Kingdom, the response has been phenomenal. Nearly every show on the EPIC screen has been running to packed houses, with people coming from across the city to witness the Mass Maharaja’s new venture.

What’s more, the theatre reflects Ravi Teja’s signature style and mass appeal. From quirky captions in the washrooms like “Ay Baboy! Intha Andanga Unnaneenti?” to naming the ticket counter “Lachindevi”, the entire space is filled with fun, fan-friendly touches. Even the welcome message “Kikku Prapthirasthu”, greets you with Ravi Teja’s trademark energy.
