Anupama Parameswaran is going all out to promote her next film Parada, directed by Praveen Kandregula. Billed to be a female-centric film, the actress is promoting the film aggressively. Speaking in a recent interview with FilmShlim Pro, she explained the effort behind breaking the stereotypes in her career.
Explaining the fact that some fans want her to do a certain kind of role, the actress said, “In life, we agree with others or listen to them out of respect we have. But ultimately, we should live life according to our wishes. We should always be doing what we genuinely want. In that manner, I don’t want to stick to the same kind of films, as I should explore more types of roles to know about my potential.”
Anupama also explained that the only goal she has in life is to become a versatile actress. “People typecast us easily. If I did well in Satamanam Bhavathi, they want me to do another character like that. But, I want to break the pattern and do different kinds of roles. Only then, my market value grows, and the work I did in the last ten years brought me here to do Paradha, which is my big bet,” she said.
“If Parada works well at the box office, I won’t be disappointed even if I don’t get any single movie. I want to prove everyone that I can act with this film,” she said.
Directed by Praveen Kandregula, Paradha is hitting the screens on August 22nd.
