Telugu film fans have been waiting for years for actor Venkatesh and director Trivikram Srinivas to collaborate on a feature film. The team has never come together on a feature film, although both of them have established themselves in their respective fields over the last twenty years.

Trivikram is popular for his punchy dialogue and direction in films that strike a balance between comedy and family-based narration. Venkatesh has given one such performances in comedies and family entertainers like a number of films in the early 2000s written by Trivikram, including Nuvvu Naaku Nachav and Malleswari. These earlier collaborations have established audience anticipation for a possible movie under Trivikram’s direction with Venkatesh as the lead actor.

The highly anticipated Venkatesh-Trivikram production was formally launched today, August 15, 2025, with a pooja ceremony formally kicking off production. The event was held at a private venue with close friends and important team members in attendance. Suresh Babu switched on the camera formally, giving the launch a ceremonial feel.

Produced by S. Radha Krishna (Chinababu), under the Haarika & Hassine Creations, this one is the eighth outing of the production with Trivikram. The shoot of the film will reportedly begin in the coming month, with a tentative summer 2026 release. The music will reportedly be done by either Thaman or Mickey J. Meyer, both of whom have collaborated with Trivikram on successful soundtracks in the past.

The association is major for family-oriented entertainers with a dash of comedy and sentiment. Venkatesh taking on a character molded by Trivikram’s tale promises a combination of homegrown dialogue-driven humor and interesting storyline. Other details regarding the cast, crew, and plot will be officially revealed in the weeks to come.
