Director Krish Jagarlamudi is known for telling stories filled with heartfelt emotions, no matter the genre. He also experiments with new backdrops each time to give audiences a fresh experience. For his next epic, Ghaati, Produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments, the director has chosen the Eastern Ghats at the Andhra–Odisha border.
Krish has designed a world where the mountains themselves feel like a living character. Cinematographer Manoj Reddy captures the Ghats showing the mist-draped mornings, scorching cliffs, and valleys that feel endless and unforgiving. Thota Tharani’s intricate production design and Ram Kishan’s breath-taking action sequences are other highlights.
Anushka Shetty plays Sheelavathi, a woman fierce and bold, whose spirit seems carved from the very rocks around her. Vikram Prabhu will be seen in a pivotal role opposite her.
The film also boasts a powerful ensemble, with Jagapathi Babu, Chaitanya Rao, Ravindra Vijay, John Vijay, VTV Ganesh, and Raju Sundaram leaving strong impressions in their roles.
Ghaati stands as an epic where stone, mist, and storm are as much characters as the people. Here, the mountains don’t just watch the story unfold, but they speak.
