Rishab Shetty’s Kantara turned heads across languages, and it showed the true potential of a pan-Indian cinema. Now, the film’s prequel, titled Kantara: Chapter 1 is gearing up for a grand release next month. With only 20 days left for the film’s release, the promotions are nowhere to be seen. The fans are worried if the film gains a good buzz by the time the movie hit the screens.
Rishab Shetty and team is extremely confident of the output as well as the film’s success. However, they are equally hopeful that the promotions this time will be happening across the pan-Indian level. With the news of the film’s digital rights being sold at 125 Cr hitting the social media, there is a huge buzz surrounding the movie. However, the team must begin media interactions at the earliest.
The team is planning to bring the film’s trailer for a grand release on September 20th. At least to create some hype for the film’s trailer release, the team must react fast. Already, there is a lot of negativity surrounding the film because of some deaths that took place on the sets. Additionally, there are few more deaths indirectly linked to the movie.
So far, the team has released only one making video, showcasing the effort that went into making the movie. However, it is not enough to take the hype to next level and match the craze of the film’s first part. The makers must at least start releasing the songs one by one as it will keep the film on the trending.
With huge expectations on the project already, the makers must realise the potential that can be tapped on, to catch everyone’s attention. Better late than never, Hombale Films must up their game and start pushing the film’s content into the public.
