Teja Sajja’s Mirai is currently performing well at the box office in the Telugu states. The movie also opened to a good response from the audiences in Hindi, resulting in the Hindi version having a steady run at the box office. So far, the film performed well, but with the new releases arriving tomorrow, we have to see how Mirai will stabilize at the ticket windows.
In the first week of its release, Mirai raked in a gross amount of 12.86 Cr rupees at the box office in North, which is a decent revenue for an upcoming actor like Teja Sajja. The minimal promotions put the film out of reach in some areas, but had they promoted the movie in a full-fledged manner, the collections would have been excellent.
The Hindi audiences usually get connected to mythological content. Moreover, the film also has some solid action blocks that would easily impress the audience. Even then, the Hindi version fell short. But the movie took advantage of limited or dull releases last week.
Jolly LLB 3 and Ajey: The Untold Story of a Yogi are hitting the screens tomorrow. We have to see if these movies give a tough fight to Mirai.
