Prabhas fans have been waiting for updates ever since his last film Kalki 2898 AD released more than a year ago. His next movie, The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, has been in the news for its shifting release dates. First planned for April 2025, then moved to December 2025, the film is now confirmed to hit theatres for Sankranthi in January 2026.
The promotions for The Raja Saab will begin this October. The trailer is expected to release on October 1. To give it a wider reach, the makers are also planning to attach it to Kantara Chapter 1, which releases on October 2. This will allow audiences across the country to watch the trailer on the big screen. The trailer will introduce the world of The Raja Saab, showing elements of horror, comedy, romance, and emotions.
The first song from the film will come out later in the month, on October 23, which is also Prabhas’ birthday. The song, composed by Thaman and choreographed by Prem Rakshith, is said to be Prabhas’ introduction track. Fans usually look forward to updates on his birthday, and this time they will have both the trailer and the first song within just three weeks.
Apart from this, another big release linked to Prabhas is also planned for October. Baahubali – The Epic, a special recut version of the two Baahubali films, will release worldwide on October 31. This version has been remastered for formats like IMAX, Dolby Vision, and D-Box, giving audiences a chance to relive the iconic story on a larger scale.
With The Raja Saab trailer and song, followed by Baahubali – The Epic, October is turning into a festival month for Prabhas fans.
The Raja Saab stars Prabhas, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar. It is directed by Maruthi and produced by TG Vishwa Prasad under People Media Factory, with music by Thaman.
