Nandamuri Balakrishna has been on a roll over the last four years with hits like Akhanda, Veera Simha Reddy, Bhagavanth Kesari, and Daaku Maharaaj. He is now gearing up for Akhanda 2, which is set to release on December 5th, and has also announced a historical action film with Gopichand Mallineni.
On the other hand, Koratala Siva, who started as a writer and then became a director, has delivered blockbuster hits with his unique style, including Mirchi, Srimanthudu, Janatha Garage, and Bharat Ane Nenu. His recent film Devara was also a hit, and he is now preparing for Devara 2.
Since Jr NTR is busy with his pre-planned projects like Dragon with Prashanth Neel, the shoot for Devara 2 is getting delayed. Meanwhile, Koratala Siva is working on new scripts, and it is reported that he is penning a film for Nandamuri Balakrishna. Though details are still under wraps, it is said to be a tailor-made role for NBK.
This will mark the first direct collaboration between Balakrishna and Koratala Siva as actor and director. Fans are excited, especially since Koratala had earlier written the dialogues for Balakrishna’s blockbuster Simha, directed by Boyapati Sreenu, but did not get credit for it.
The discussions between Balakrishna and Koratala Siva are reportedly ongoing. Meanwhile, NBK has two more films lined up after Akhanda 2: one with Gopichand Mallineni following the success of Veera Simha Reddy, and another, a sequel to Aditya 369, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. If schedules align, Koratala Siva’s film with Balakrishna may go on floors after Devara 2.
