Director Anil Ravipudi often adds nostalgic elements to his films. In his last movie Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, he brought singer Ramana Gogula back to sing for Venkatesh, reminding fans of their old hit songs.
Now, for Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, Ravipudi has chosen Udit Narayan to sing again for Chiranjeevi. Udit’s voice was a big part of Chiranjeevi’s popular songs in films like Daddy, Choodalani Vundi, Indra, and Tagore.
On Dussehra, the makers released the promo of the first single Meesaala Pilla. The song features Chiranjeevi and Nayanthara in a colorful setting, sung by Udit Narayan and Shweta Mohan. Music is by Bheems Ceciroleo, lyrics by Bhaskarabhatla, and choreography by Vijay Polaki.
The film’s album will also include three more tracks, a melody, a dance number, and a mass song with Chiranjeevi and Venkatesh.
Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu is directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments. It stars Chiranjeevi, Venkatesh, and Nayanthara, and will release worldwide for Sankranthi 2026.
