Actress Srinidhi Shetty, known for K.G.F., is now coming to Telugu screens with her new movie Telusu Kada. In a chat with FilmShlim Pro, she spoke about the film, her role, and why she takes long breaks between movies.
Srinidhi said she believes in doing fewer films but with strong stories. She wants every project to give her happiness and excitement. She only picks films if the story or team feels right to her.
Talking about Telusu Kada, she said this film is very different from K.G.F.. “No action or blood this time, it’s full of emotions and real feelings,” she said.
Her character in the film is named Raha. Srinidhi described Raha as a kind and clear-minded woman who still has her own struggles, just like anyone in real life.
For the first time, Srinidhi worked with a woman director and said it was a special experience. She felt women directors understand emotions and details better.
She also spoke about the gap after K.G.F. 2 and Cobra. She said she wanted to wait for the right project instead of doing random movies. “I am proud I waited for a story like Telusu Kada,” she said.
Telusu Kada will release in theatres on October 17.
