Almost a year before release, the makers of Ram Charan’s Peddi and Nani’s The Paradise locked March 2026 as their target. Interestingly, they planned to come out in the same week, The Paradise on March 26 and Peddi on March 27. With two big films, one of them might have to move to avoid a clash.
Director Buchi Babu Sana, who made his debut with the 2021 hit Uppena, is now working on his second film, Peddi. It’s a sports drama set in the Uttarandhra region. It stars Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shiv Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu and others. The shoot is going well, and around 60% is already done. The first half edit is also locked, so the film seems to be on track for the planned March 27 release.
On the other side, The Paradise is being directed by Srikanth Odela, who delivered a hit with Dasara in 2023. He’s reuniting with Nani for this film, which is a rooted action drama set in the period backdrop of Secunderabad. It Stars Nani, Kayadu Lohar, Raghav Juyal, Sonali Kulkarni and others.
The team behind The Paradise didn’t start shooting early as planned. The take-off got delayed, and the shoot has been moving slowly. Because of this, reports suggest that it may be tough for the team to meet the March 26 deadline. A postponement looks quite possible at this stage.
If both Peddi and The Paradise complete on time, one of them will still need to move for a smoother release. Looking at the current pace, The Paradise has a higher chance of changing its date to avoid a direct clash with Peddi.
