After Colour Photo and Bedurulanka 2012, producer Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni is back with another meaningful film, Dhandoraa. Written and directed by Murali Kanth, the movie is all set for a Christmas release on December 25.
The first poster, showing a freshly dug pit with the tagline “A dramatic end to this year”, caught everyone’s attention for its simple yet powerful message. It gives a hint that the film is going to be intense and emotional.
Set in rural Telangana, Dhandoraa deals with caste, social barriers, and how standing up to old systems often leads to conflict. Yet, the story also blends satire, humor, and emotion, making it a grounded and real tale told with cinematic beauty.
The movie features Shivaji, Navdeep, Nandu, Ravi Krishna, Manika Chikkala, Mounica Reddy, Bindu Madhavi, Raadhya, and Aditi Bhavaraju in key roles. The technical team includes Mark K. Robin for music, Venkat R. Sakhamuri for cinematography, and Srujana Adusumilli for editing.
With T Series handling the audio and Atharvana Bhadrakali Pictures taking care of the overseas release, Dhandoraa has strong support.
If the first look is anything to go by, Dhandoraa promises not just a film but a heartfelt story that speaks of life, struggles, and emotions in their truest form.
