Before the historic 2024, election, not many knew the name Namburi Seshagiri Rao. But after this, one particular incident that happened during the 2024 election in Macherla, Became one of the heroes of Telugu Desam party across Andhra Pradesh.
Incidentally, Seshagiri Rao was the firebrand who came up against MLA Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy, who created havoc at the polling station in Macherla during the election. While Ramakrishna Reddy was publicly destroying the EVM during the voting process, TDP’s booth agent Seshagiri Rao obstructed him and held fort despite the gross misuse of power by YCP.
