Earlier this year, it was officially communicated that Konidela Naga Babu would be given a cabinet position after his nomination as an MLC. In accordance with this, he was accorded with the MLC position in the recent election.

However, his inclusion in the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has not yet happened and there have been several debates and theories about the delay in the same.

The topic was brought up in front of the Deputy chief minister, Pawan Kalyan himself and he clarified on this crucial matter. He confirmed that chief minister Chandrababu is fully in approval for this cabinet expansion, but it is he himself who must take the decision now.

“I wanted to see Naga Babu as an MLC and that happened. When it comes to the cabinet ranking, it is a decision that I must take. First, I must assess the portfolios that are with Janasena and accord one to Naga Babu correspondingly. CM Chandrababu Garu has approved the same but I must take the final call. This will be done once I fully sort the internal hierarchy in the party.” Kalyan said.

Kalyan has confirmed publicly that this decision is not delayed from the TDP end but rather from JSP end. Kalyan must know accommodate a portfolio for Naga Babu from the ones that are already with Janasena and then include him in the cabinet. What is appeared that neither Kalyan nor Naga Babu are in a hurry about the same.
