It is well known that YSR Congress has a habit of spreading fake stories and negative narratives against the capital city of Amaravati. They are at it again, this time by circulating fabricated videos of flooding in the city.
The intention behind these videos is clear: to portray Amaravati as a sinking city and to claim that it is unfit to be the state’s capital. This is not new, as YCP has attempted similar tactics several times in the past.
However, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu remains unfazed by these false campaigns. On the contrary, he appears even more determined and motivated.
Chandrababu has instructed the concerned authorities that Amaravati’s construction must now move at a faster pace. He wants the capital project to gather strong momentum and for Amaravati to come alive and take shape during this very season.
Typically, YSR Congress spreads this “flooding narrative” during the rainy season, trying to show Amaravati as waterlogged and unsuitable for development. But Chandrababu is looking to flip the script by pushing forward construction works during the rainy period itself, thereby silencing the fake propaganda.
It has already been established that the flooding videos circulated by YSR Congress were fabricated and morphed. Now, Chandrababu wants to go one step further by disproving the false narrative through visible progress and rapid development in Amaravati.
