In the Chandrababu’s cabinet, one woman minister has quietly become the talk of the party circles. Despite facing challenges in her constituency, she has managed to earn appreciation both from party leaders and from the Chief Minister himself.
Among the three women ministers Vangalapudi Anitha, Gummadi Sandhya Rani and Sanjeeva Reddy Savitha, it is Savitha who has drawn particular attention. Though she is relatively senior in age, Savitha has been very active, constantly engaging with party workers, reaching out to people, and pushing forward government programs with dedication.
This proactive approach has caught Chandrababu’s eye. In a recent cabinet meeting, he openly praised Savitha’s performance, calling her a “good minister.” He noted that she has been balancing government initiatives and party activities with equal energy, participating actively in both spheres.
Savitha has been at the forefront of key programs like Suparipalana and Annadata Sukhibhava scheme, while also traveling widely across the state to meet farmers and women. In her interactions, she has been highlighting the difference between the current NDA government and the previous YSRCP regime, winning goodwill from the public.
Her unique way of connecting with people has also stood out. During Mahanadu, she rode a bicycle for six kilometers, inspiring party cadres with her enthusiasm. More recently, she drove a tractor during the launch of the Annadata Sukhibhava program, filling farmers with fresh energy.
Despite known political hurdles in her Penukonda constituency, Savitha has chosen a different approach — avoiding unnecessary disputes, keeping everyone together, and focusing on positive work. This has not only won her Chandrababu’s recognition but also built her reputation as one of the most reliable faces in the cabinet.
For all these reasons, leaders within the party believe that Savitha has truly earned the “good marks” given by Chandrababu. Her combination of experience, energy, and people-connect has made her one of the most admired ministers in the current team.
