It is an established fact that Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is a pretty significant deal even in the national political scheme. He is a crucial player for the NDA alliance at the centre and has the attention of the national media firmly on him consistently.

In this context, something rather detrimental has been happening with regard to Chandrababu in the north Indian media space.

Incidentally, there have been these recent cooked up reports by certain north Indian media individuals about how Chandrababu is looking to trouble the NDA alliance by resigning as the CM and withdrawing his support to the NDA. It was even reported that Nara Lokesh is contemplating a no confidence motion in the parliament against the NDA.

While these were always bound to be unfounded, speculations cooked up by anti-NDA media individuals, TDP was not taking any chances with it as the party clarified on the matter.

The clarification statement from TDP stated this is a fake campaign going viral on social media in the north. The summary of this campaign is that AP Chief Minister Chandrababu garu has become ready to resign and his son Lokesh is going to move a no-confidence motion in Parliament against the central NDA government with 16 MPs from their state. This is completely untrue.

Chandrababu has been repeatedly expressing his confidence in the NDA government and is even actively supporting, vice president candidate CP Radhakrishnan. But considering the significance Chandrababu has at the centre, certain media channels are looking to disorient the NDA by cooking stories on Naidu.
