The prime minister of India, Narendra Modi is the most powerful person in the country and is one of the most influential global leaders in the world. Consequently, meeting Modi is a very tough task, even for the top leaders across the country.
However, situation is exact opposite for Andhra Pradesh minister and the son of chief minister Chandrababu, Nara Lokesh. He is finding it extremely comfortable to meet the Prime Minister at well.
Incidentally, Modi had specifically pointed out to Lokesh that he wants to meet the latter at the PM Office, when he came to the Amaravati relaunch project a few months back.
This was followed by a courtesy visit from Lokesh and his family to the Prime Minister’s office. Ever since then it has become largely easy and manageable for Lokesh to meet Prime Minister Modi.
Lokesh was able to meet Modi on a short notice today, and the meeting reportedly lasted an hour. This is perhaps the third time that Lokesh met Modi at an individual capacity in the last few months.
While other leaders, including YS Jagan from Andhra Pradesh, found it extremely hard to secure Modi’s appointment and had to wait days together, Lokesh is getting things done very quickly in the national capital.
While the transition of Lokesh towards emerging as the next big thing in Andhra Pradesh politics is anyway happening, it is good to see him command authority even at the central level.
