Former chief minister YS Jagan is currently on a foreign trip to London after having secured conditional permission from the CBI court. However, it is now being revealed that Jagan has already violated one of the regulations set by the court.

Reportedly, Jagan was supposed to submit his mobile phone number and email ID along with his complete travel itinerary to the CBI court to obtain permission. He completed this process before flying to London earlier this month.

However, the CBI later discovered that the phone number submitted by Jagan does not belong to him, and that he had instead provided a different number. This has angered the CBI, which has now approached the court seeking to cancel the conditional permission granted to Jagan.

By submitting someone else’s number, Jagan disobeyed one of the key restrictions imposed by the court. The CBI noted that such irresponsible conduct warrants the cancellation of his privileges and even requested that his ongoing trip be revoked immediately.

Jagan’s lawyer is now expected to file a counter, and the case will come up for hearing today. This development has turned into yet another legal headache for the former CM.

As is known, Jagan has often claimed that he does not use a mobile phone and doesn’t even possess one personally. However, that doesn’t justify providing a different number to the court merely to comply with formalities.
