Before the historic 2024 Andhra Pradesh election, Pawan Kalyan appealed to the people of Pithapuram that he would be absolutely changing the face of the constituency once he is elected as the MLA.
Subsequently, the locals fully trusted in Kalyan and gave him a resounding victory. And now, they’re reaping the benefits for the same as Kalyan is relentlessly putting up great work for Pithapuram.
Cur to now, reportedly, clear instructions were given by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan to swiftly advance the plan to develop Pitapuram as a spiritual tourism center. He stated that the famous temples in Pithapuram have already been identified, and the necessary funds for their rejuvenation works will be provided by the Endowments Department.
Kalyan mentioned that the Endowments Department has already tentatively agreed to allocate Rs.20 Crores from the Common Good Fund for the restoration of 19 temples. This includes the main temples in the vicinity, namely Sri Puruhutika Ammavari, Sri Kukkuteswara Swamivari, and Sri Pada Sri Vallabha Swamivari Temples.
Upon the recommendation from the deputy CM, the Endowments Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy has tentatively approved the allocation of funds to develop a total of 19 temples including the main temples.
At this rate, it shouldn’t be too long before Pawan Kalyan’s Pithapuram emerges to be the spiritual capital of Andhra Pradesh. This is also in tune with the fact that Kalyan has taken a strong pro-Sanatani stance in the recent past and has been calling for conservation of Hindu culture.
